The USS Lunar is the first of the Sentinel-Class Escort vehicles. These undersized ships have long-range transporters than can transport under any conditions, in case of evacuation from other vessels. It's four nacelles give it a very high-speed impulse power, and the two Ion cannons on the front, and the Quad-Pulse Phaser on the back make it great for hit-and-runs.

Of course, there's a weakness. VERY few ships don't have one. This ship's weakness is it's large nacelles that protrude over the rest of the hull. A direct torpedo hit on one of the fuel cells lining the connection between the struts and the nacelles will cause it to either shut down or blow up, which will make the command have to shut down the other top nacelle, thus reducing the impulse speed to half it's maximum potential.
