The reptilian Admiral Hezhahk stood on the bridge of his command ship staring at the viewscreen. "Are you sure that is what we have been looking for?" asked Hezhahk in the Mother Language which consisted of many clicks and whistles.

"Yes Admiral, I'm sure." said the sensor officer in the same Mother Language. Although the Zech'rivn were indebted to the one called the Shadow they refused to transition over to the main humanoid language of this galaxy.

Hezhahk flicked his tongue and studied the image of the planet on the viewscreen. "Burn it." he commanded.

"Yes, First Hunter." said the weapons chief using Hezhahk's Zech'rivn title. The weapons of the three ships under the Admiral's command opened up with their destructive power. They contacted atmosphere and the planet started to burn.

The Shadow had commanded Hezhahk to hunt down and destroy VenJents' secret base. First Hunter Hezhahk of clan Zifhahz was the best hunter of all the Zech'rivn clans. He loved to hunt. Planet 2489b-3bf981c would burn as ordered. The Shadow would be pleased.

The forested planet was now morphing into a molten slag. As the weapons made their way to the northern pole something on the planet exploded. "What was that?"

"Most likely one of VenJents weap..."

Another, larger, explosion blossomed from the planet and the whole thing exploded. In the center of the maelstrom a dark hole was forming.

"Helm! Get us away from here!" yelled Hezhahk. But it was too late. The black hole had the three ships in its grasp. They slid into the maw.

VenJents, in his bunk on Void, woke to a beeping. He rolled over and reached under the bunk for his portable computer. He flipped open the screen and what rewarded with a message that said that his secret base had been destroyed.

He was not sad about losing all of those weapons- he had planned on destroying them eventually anyway- but he was maddened that his clone bodies had been destroyed. His plan for bringing down Derek depended on him having an extra clone body. This would complicate thinks infinitely .

Wide awake now he got to work on a new plan...
